Pai8263AE Opto-Compatible Single Channel Isolated Smart Gate Driver

The Pai8263x is an advanced 6.0A output current, easy touse, smart gate driver which make IGBT VCE fault protection 
compact, affordable, and easy to implement. Features such 
as integrated VCE detection, under voltage lockout (UVLO), 
“soft” IGBT turn-off, isolated open collector fault feedback, 
active miller clamping, and auto fault reset provide 
maximum design flexibility and circuit protection. The 
typical propagation time is 180ns which can minimize the 
propagation time between the controller and the IGBT. 
Desaturation detection prevents the damage of power 
devices during over current, and a second isolation channel 
provides a fault feedback signal for the controller. 
By using maturated standard semiconductor CMOS 
technology and 2Pai Semi iDivider® technology, these 
isolation components provide outstanding performance 
characteristics and reliability superior to alternatives such 
as optocoupler devices and other integrated isolators.
